Abstract

Abstrak Judul penelitian ini adalah Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja Dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo. Di era globalisasi saat ini perusahaan dituntut untuk terus menerus mempersiapkan dirinya untuk mengantisipasi dan menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan yang terjadi. Perusahaan harus dapat menjalankan usahanya dengan pemikiran dan tindakan yang sebaik mungkin dan mempunyai strategi-strategi baru dalam upaya meningkatkan pengembangan dan performan para karyawannya serta mengoptimalkan seluruh aspek yang terkait dengan kegiatan perusahaan dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Salah satu aspek sekaligus faktor penunjang yang harus diperhatikan agar tujuan perusahaan tercapai yaitu faktor sumber daya manusia. Sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dengan kinerja yang baik, dapat menunjang keberhasilan bisnis. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini ada dua: 1). Apakah motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo?. 2). Manakah diantara motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja yang mempunyai pengaruh dominan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo?. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja di bagian produksi di PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo, penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan metode penarikan sampel secara tidak acak (non probability sampling). Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 karyawan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan quisioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Persamaan regresi linear berganda yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah Y = 1.606 + 0.549 X1 + 0.247 X2 + e. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan. Secara simultan dan parsial motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo, hal itu dibuktikan dengan nilai sig < 0,05. Secara dominan yang berpengaruh terhadap PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo adalah motivasi kerja. Berdasarkan analisis koefisien determinasi diperoleh hasil, nilai R = 0,785 dan R2 = 0,608 ini berarti besarnya pengaruh motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo adalah sebesar 0,608 atau sebesar 60,8 %. Kata Kunci : Motivasi Kerja, Disiplin Kerja Dan Kinerja Karyawan Abstract The title of this research is the Effect of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance of PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo. In the current era of globalization, companies are required to continuously prepare themselves to anticipate and adjust to the changes that occur. Companies must be able to run their business with the best thought and action and have new strategies in an effort to improve the development and performance of their employees and optimize all aspects related to company activities and improve employee performance. One aspect as well as supporting factors that must be considered so that the company's goals are achieved, namely human resource factors. Competent human resources with good performance can support business success. The formulation of the problem in this study is twofold: 1). Does work motivation and work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo ?. 2). Which is between work motivation and work discipline that has a dominant influence on the performance of employees of PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo ?. The object of this research is employees who work in the production department at PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo, sample determination is done by non-probability sampling method. The number of respondents in this study were 96 employees. Methods of data collection using quisioner, interview, and observation. The multiple linear regression equation obtained in this study is Y = 1.606 + 0.549 X1 + 0.247 X2 + e. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out it can be concluded. Simultaneously and partially work motivation and work discipline affect the performance of employees of PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo, this is evidenced by the value of sig <0.05. Dominantly affecting PT. Panggung Electric Citrabuana Sidoarjo is work motivation. Based on the analysis of the coefficient of determination the results obtained, the value of R = 0.785 and R2 = 0.608 this means the magnitude of the influence of work motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT.
