Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran histopatologi dan jumlah leukosit kolon pada ayam broiler (Gallus domesticus) yang terinfeksi bakteri. Penelitian menggunakan 18 sampel ayam broiler yang diperoleh dari tiga pasar tradisional di Surabaya. Pemeriksaan histopatologi dilakukan dengan pewarnaan Hematoksilin Eosin (HE) menggunakan parameter hemoragi, infiltrasi sel radang, dan nekrosis, sedangkan jumlah leukosit dihitung menggunakan kamar hitung Neubauer. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil menunjukkan adanya perubahan histopatologi berupa hemoragi, infiltrasi sel radang, dan nekrosis pada seluruh sampel. Rerata jumlah leukosit pada Pasar Wonokromo, Keputran, dan Dukuh Kupang masing-masing sebesar 14,45 ± 8,29; 19,64 ± 10,39; dan 22,94 ± 6,41 ×10³/µL. Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada gambaran histopatologi maupun jumlah leukosit antar pasar (P>0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa seluruh sampel menunjukkan perubahan histopatologi kolon dengan jumlah leukosit yang bervariasi, namun tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antar pasar.
