Abstract

Latar belakang: Osteoartritis genu merupakan penyakit degeneratif sendi yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor mekanik dan metabolik. Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) tinggi meningkatkan beban intra-artikular, sedangkan kadar kalsium serum menggambarkan homeostasis mineral yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan tulang. Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan IMT dengan kadar kalsium serum pada pasien osteoartritis genu di Posyandu Larasati, Dukuh Kupang, Surabaya. Metode: Penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dilakukan pada Januari 2026 terhadap 30 responden perempuan berusia 35-75 tahun yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran antropometri, pemeriksaan kalsium serum, dan identifikasi osteoartritis genu. Analisis normalitas menggunakan Shapiro-Wilk, dilanjutkan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil: Mayoritas responden berusia 46-57 tahun (53,3%). Kategori IMT terbanyak adalah overweight dan obesitas, masing-masing 10 responden (33,3%). Seluruh responden memiliki kadar kalsium serum normal (8,5-10,5 mg/dL). Uji Pearson menunjukkan korelasi negatif lemah yang tidak signifikan antara IMT dan kalsium serum (r = - 0,250; p = 0,183). Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara IMT dan kadar kalsium serum pada pasien osteoartritis genu. Pemantauan IMT tetap penting sebagai indikator risiko mekanik, sedangkan kalsium serum tunggal belum cukup untuk mendeteksi keparahan osteoartritis.
