Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dampak dari Corporate Governance, Struktur Kepemilikan, dan kinerja perusahaan terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang properti dan real estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) untuk periode 2020–2024. Financial distress mengacu pada kondisi di mana kesehatan finansial perusahaan menurun, yang bisa berujung pada kebangkrutan. Diharapkan penerapan Corporate Governance yang efektif, struktur kepemilikan yang efisien, dan kinerja perusahaan yang baik dapat meminimalisir risiko ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mengambil data sekunder dari laporan tahunan perusahaan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi logistik untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh dari variabel bebas terhadap financial distress. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, Corporate Governance, kepemilikan saham, dan kinerja perusahaan memiliki pengaruh terhadap financial distress. Sementara itu, secara individual, Corporate Governance dan kinerja perusahaan memberikan dampak yang signifikan, sedangkan kepemilikan saham menunjukkan pengaruh yang bervariasi berdasarkan karakteristik masing-masing perusahaan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas Corporate Governance dan kinerja finansial dapat membantu mengurangi kemungkinan terjadinya financial distress.
