Abstract

This research aims to identify problems and formulate strategies for the implementation of a digital financial reporting system for MSMEs using Accurate software, as it is one of the most widely used cloud-based accounting applications by MSMEs in Indonesia and has excellent evaluation features. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study. MSMEs in Surabaya that have been using Accurate for at least one year were interviewed, observed, and documented. The research results show that Accurate can improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reports and make financial management more transparent. However, limited digital literacy, inadequate technological infrastructure, and lack of continuous training and support are the main obstacles to its implementation. The findings of this research emphasize the importance of synergy between technology providers, the government, and MSME actors in promoting the adoption of digital accounting systems. The research also concludes that, with the support of appropriate mentoring strategies, employee readiness, and access to technology, digital transformation with Accurate can enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs.
