Abstract
Sawi (Brassica rapa L.) merupakan komoditas hortikultura penting yang hasil produksinya masih dapat ditingkatkan melalui pemupukan organik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi berbagai macam POC terhadap tiga varietas sawi, serta pengaruh masing-masing faktor terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Jl. Ketintang Madya VII No. 2, Karah, Kecamatan Jambangan, Surabaya, pada Januari–Maret 2026 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dua faktor, yaitu macam POC (kontrol, POC eceng gondok, dan POC kulit pisang) dan varietas sawi (caisim tosakan, caisim shinta, dan pakcoy Nauli F1), masing-masing tiga level dengan lima kelompok sehingga diperoleh 45 unit percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi POC dan varietas tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter pertumbuhan (panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, dan panjang akar) maupun hasil (berat basah dan berat kering), yang menunjukkan bahwa kedua faktor bekerja secara mandiri. Secara tunggal, POC kulit pisang (P2) menunjukkan nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan POC eceng gondok maupun kontrol pada parameter panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, berat basah, serta berat kering konsumsi dan brangkasan, meski tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang akar maupun berat kering akar. Varietas pakcoy Nauli F1 (V3) secara konsisten menunjukkan nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan varietas lainnya pada parameter jumlah daun, berat basah, dan berat kering, serta unggul pula pada panjang tanaman dan luas daun di fase awal pertumbuhan, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang akar. POC kulit pisang berpotensi menjadi alternatif pupuk organik untuk mendukung pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman sawi, meskipun masih diperlukan penyempurnaan budidaya agar peningkatan pertumbuhan dapat diikuti peningkatan hasil panen. Kata Kunci: sawi, pupuk organik cair, varietas, pertumbuhan, hasil. ================================================================= Asian greens (Brassica rapa L.) are an important horticultural commodity with production potential that can be enhanced through organic fertilization. This study aimed to determine the interaction between various types of liquid organic fertilizers (LOF) and three mustard varieties, as well as the individual effects of these factors on plant growth and yield. The research was conducted at Jl. Ketintang Madya VII No. 2, Karah, Jambangan District, Surabaya, from January to March 2026, using a two-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD). The factors were LOF type (control, water hyacinth LOF, and banana peel LOF) and mustard variety (caisim tosakan, caisim shinta, and pakcoy Nauli F1); with three levels for each factor and five blocks, a total of 45 experimental units were obtained. The results showed that the interaction between LOF and variety did not significantly affect any growth parameters (plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, and root length) or yield parameters (fresh weight and dry weight), indicating that the two factors operated independently. Individually, banana peel LOF (P2) yielded higher values than water hyacinth LOF or the control regarding plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight, and both edible and total biomass dry weights, although it did not significantly affect root length or root dry weight. The pakcoy Nauli F1 variety (V3) consistently showed higher values than the other varieties for number of leaves, fresh weight, and dry weight, and also excelled in plant height and leaf area during the early growth phase, though it did not significantly affect root length. Banana peel LOF has the potential to serve as an alternative organic fertilizer to support the vegetative growth of mustard greens, although cultivation practices require further refinement to ensure that increased growth translates into higher crop yields.
