Abstract

ABSTRAK Kondisi pencemaran dan penurunan kualitas lingkungan di Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Jagir mendorong perlunya rehabilitasi sungai secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kesediaan membayar (Willingness to Pay/WTP) masyarakat terhadap program rehabilitasi dan penataan DAS Jagir, dengan fokus pada variabel pendapatan, tingkat pendidikan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan analisis regresi linier berganda terhadap 110 responden di Kelurahan Ngagelrejo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel pendapatan yang berpengaruh signifikan secara positif terhadap WTP, sedangkan tingkat pendidikan dan jumlah anggota keluarga tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Masyarakat menilai bahwa kualitas air sungai masih belum memadai dan cenderung buruk, serta layanan air PDAM tidak sepenuhnya dapat diandalkan. Sebagian besar responden tidak hanya menggunakan air PDAM, tetapi juga memanfaatkan sumber air lain seperti sumur, air galon, dan air isi ulang. Rendahnya nilai WTP juga dipengaruhi oleh anggapan bahwa perbaikan sungai merupakan tanggung jawab pemerintah, bukan masyarakat. Kata kunci: Kesediaan membayar (WTP), Rehabilitasi sungai, Pendapatan, Pendidikan, Layanan air bersih ABSTRACT The pollution and declining environmental quality in the Jagir River Basin (DAS) has prompted the need for sustainable river rehabilitation. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing community willingness to pay (WTP) for the Jagir Watershed rehabilitation and development program, focusing on income, education level, and family size. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method and multiple linear regression analysis of 110 respondents in Ngagelrejo Village. The results showed that only income had a significant positive effect on WTP, while education level and family size did not. The community assessed that river water quality was still inadequate and tended to be poor, and that the PDAM water service was not fully reliable. Most respondents used not only PDAM water but also other water sources such as wells, gallon water, and refillable water. The low WTP was also influenced by the perception that river improvement was the responsibility of the government, not the community.
