Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran histopatologi trakea dan jumlah sel limfosit terhadap paparan asap rokok elektrik dosis tinggi pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus). Sebanyak 20 ekor tikus putih jantan dengan empat perlakuan yaitu P0 (kontrol), P1 (dipaparkan asap rokok elektrik dengan dosis nikotin 3,5 mg), P2 (dipaparkan asap rokok elektrik dengan dosis nikotin 7 mg), dan P3 (dipaparkan asap rokok elektrik dengan dosis nikotin 14 mg). Masing- masing perlakuan dilakukan selama satu jam dan diobservasi selama 24 jam sebelum dilakukan nekropsi. Nekropsi dilakukan untuk mengambil trakea dan sedikit darah untuk pembuatan apusan darah. Lesi yang diamati adalah nekrosis, hemoragi dan infiltrasi sel radang, serta melihat jumlah sel limfosit pada darah dengan menggunakan mikroskop. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tikus yang terpapar asap rokok elektrik dosis tinggi ini mengalami perubahan histopatologi berupa nekrosi, hemoragi, dan infiltrasi sel radang pada P3 dengan dosis 14 mg didapatkan nilai hasilnya adalah 8,00b ± 2,74 untuk hemoragi, 3,40b ± 0,54 untuk infiltrasi sel radang dan 6,80b ± 1,09 untuk nekrosis. Namun, hasil pada apusan darah untuk P0, P1, P2 dan P3 terhadap jumlah limfosit tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap paparan asap rokok elektrik dosis tinggi selama satu jam.
