(II) Dra. Siti Azizah, M.Pd. This research focuses on the feminism found in the main character in the novel The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. The purpose of this study is to explore the novel part about the life of Katniss Everdeen and how postmodern feminism is depicted in the character of Katniss in The Hunger Games novel. The research method used is research that uses qualitative methods and data classification. The researcher found that some of the dialogues or scripts displayed were in accordance with the characteristics of postmodern feminism. Among all the texts or dialogues, there are some stand out very much with postmodern feminism. Feminism is a movement that provides space for women to be what they want, and the freedom to do all kinds of activities without having to follow orders from a man. Katniss Everdeen is a woman who comes from the poorest district in her city, she became the breadwinner of her family after her father died. In the novel, Katniss follows a match and manages to emerge victorious after being able to survive by taking strategies and mastering weapons that are usually done by a man. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the role of this character is described as postmodern feminism that women can be equal to men by being able to do everything and make decisions at an urgent time without having to wait for orders from men or women to become leaders to compete with men.
