Abstract

Paparan asap rokok mengandung berbagai zat toksik yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan hati melalui mekanisme stres oksidatif, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar SGOT, SGPT, serta perubahan histopatologi hepar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kandungan asam lemak omega-3 dalam buah merah Papua (Pandanus conoideus Lamk.) terhadap kadar SGOT, SGPT, dan gambaran histopatologi hati pada tikus Wistar yang diinduksi paparan asap rokok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode true experimental dengan desain post-test only control group pada 25 ekor tikus putih jantan Wistar yang dibagi menjadi lima kelompok, yaitu kontrol negatif (K-), kontrol positif (K+), serta tiga kelompok perlakuan (P1, P2, dan P3). Parameter yang diamati meliputi kadar SGOT, SGPT, dan histopatologi hati. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk, Levene, dan Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa paparan asap rokok meningkatkan kadar SGOT, SGPT, serta menyebabkan kerusakan histopatologi hati. Pemberian ekstrak buah merah Papua mampu menurunkan kadar enzim hati dan memperbaiki struktur jaringan, dengan hasil terbaik pada dosis tertinggi.
