Abstract

Trikomoniasis merupakan infeksi menular seksual non-virus yang disebabkan oleh Trichomonas vaginalis dan masih menjadi masalah kesehatan reproduksi pada wanita usia subur. Rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat dapat menghambat pencegahan dan deteksi dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh program edukasi seksual terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu PKK mengenai trikomoniasis. Penelitian menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 32 ibu PKK di Balai RW 01 RT 07 Kampung Kejawan, Desa Kamal, yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Pengetahuan diukur menggunakan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah edukasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank. Sebelum edukasi, sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang, yaitu 17 orang (53,1%), sedangkan setelah edukasi sebagian besar memiliki pengetahuan baik, yaitu 29 orang (90,6%). Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan p = 0,001, positive rank 18, negative rank 1, dan ties 13. Program edukasi seksual berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu PKK mengenai trikomoniasis. Edukasi berkelanjutan diperlukan sebagai strategi promosi kesehatan reproduksi dan pencegahan infeksi menular seksual di masyarakat.
