Abstract

Iswadara Kharisma Doa. 2026. “Improving Students’ Writing Skill of Analytical Exposition Text Through Digital Infographic Poster at 11 Grade in SMA Hang Tuah 1”. The Advisor: (1) Diah Yovita Suryarini, S.Sos., M.Pd and (2) Wahyun Bardianing Panggalih, S.Pd., M.Pd. The purpose of this study was to improve students’ writing skills in analytical exposition text through the implementation of digital infographic posters at SMA Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya. This study was motivated by students’ difficulties in developing ideas, organizing arguments, and using appropriate vocabulary and grammar in writing analytical exposition texts. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was implemented in two cycles consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 30 students of class XI. Data were collected through writing tests, observation sheets, and field notes. The results showed that the implementation of digital infographic posters improved students’ writing skills. The percentage of students who achieved the KKM increased from 16.67% in the preliminary study to 53.33% in Cycle I and reached 86.67% in Cycle II. In conclusion, digital infographic posters are effective learning media for improving students’ writing skills in analytical exposition texts.
