Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Kompetensi, Independensi, Profesionalisme, Pengalaman, dan Beban Kerja Auditor terhadap Kualitas Audit di Kantor Akuntan Publik (KAP) di Surabaya. Penelitian ini mengambil pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada auditor yang bertugas di Kantor Akuntan Publik (KAP) di Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari beberapa pernyataan yang disusun berdasarkan indikator setiap variabel penelitian. Analisis dilakukan dengan regresi linear berganda, memanfaatkan aplikasi statistical product and service solution (SPSS). Temuan dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi, independensi, dan profesionalisme menegaskan bahwa pentingnya peningkatan auditor diperlukan untuk mencapai kualitas audit yang lebih baik. Di sisi lain, pengalaman dan beban kerja menunjukkan bahwa meskipun auditor memiliki pengalaman yang lebih sedikit dan beban kerja yang berat, mereka tetap berusaha untuk menjaga mutu hasil audit sehingga dapat memberikan opini audit yang berkualitas tinggi.
