ABSTRACT Agustina , Winda Alifia. (2021) . STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION ON THE USE OF YOUTUBE CHANNEL FOR ENGLISH TEACHING AND LEARNING AT SMPN 1 PURWODADI-PASURUAN. Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya University. Surabaya. Advisors: (I) Dra. Bekti Wirawati, M.Pd. (II) Drs. Supeno, M.Hum.,M.Pd This paper aimed to investigate the students’ perception toward on the use of YouTube Channel for English teaching and learning at SMPN 1 PURWODADI-PASURUAN . The research design of this study was descriptive qualitative .The subjects of the study in three classes were 70 students of 7th A,7th B , and 7th F graders . The data was collected by students fill the questionnaire toward Google Form. The data analysis was implementing the Likert Scale. The result of the study showed positive perception of the students toward on the use of YouTube Platform. In conclusion , students agreed that YouTube Platform has an interest audio-visual display which is exciting and enjoyable, students has been get an advantages toward on the use of YouTube Platform for Learning English Process ,and YouTube recommended not only in English lesson no exception for the other lesson .
