Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on companies, the impact is a decrease in the productivity of business actors due to the occurrence of covid-19 causing reduced profits and even causing losses for the company. This has an impact on investment cooperation agreements in the form of the inability of business actors to make payments to investors. Based on this background, the following problems can be formulated: What are the Legal Characteristics of Cooperation Agreements between Business Actors and Investors and What is the Accountability of Business Actors to Investors About Profit Sharing During the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study uses research methods, conclusions and suggestions. The research method used is normative juridical or also called library law research, namely the method or method used in legal research that is carried out by examining existing library materials. And use the approach method (statute approach) or the method of legislation. The approach is taken by reviewing all laws and regulations with legal issues that occur. Investment cooperation agreement is an unnamed agreement with business actors and investors as parties. The distinctive feature of this agreement is that its object is in the form of capital deposit by investors in the form of cash with the return in the form of profit sharing. Meanwhile, business actors have the right to obtain capital and provide profits. The Covid-19 pandemic is included in the Force Majeur concept so that the obligations of business actors regarding profit sharing do not apply as stated in the agreement. An investment cooperation agreement is an agreement made by both parties so that both parties are balanced and no one is harmed. The agreement includes a concept related to profit sharing where profit sharing is only carried out if there is a profit.
