Abstract

Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji statistik one way ANOVA menggunakan program SPSS (Statistical Product of Service Solution) for Windows versi 16.00. Kata kunci : antibakteri, air perasan jeruk nipis, staphylococcus epidermidis Abstract The need for anti-bacterial is very large as a treatment for infectious diseases, but the act is that the use of anti-bacterial is not appropriate. The purpose of the study was to determine the potential of lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) as an anti-bacterial that can inhibit Staphylococcus epidermidis bacterial growth. This research was a quantitative study using experimental methods with post test only control grup design, the number of treatments in this study was 5 treatments of lime juice (Citrus auranitifolia S.) with a concentration of 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, and the positive control used Chloramphenicol with five replications. The data analysis used statistic test of one way ANOVA with SPSS program (Statistical Product of Service Solution) for Windowsversi 16.00. The results of the study could be concluded that the lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) had potential as an anti-bacterial because it was able to inhibit the Staphylococcus epidermidis bacterial growth. The concentration of the lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) which had the biggest inhibition zone that was able to inhibit the growth was the concentration of 100 percent due to an average of 11,48 mm. The minimum inhibitory concentration of the lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) which could inhibit the bacterial growth was the concentration of 75 percent due to an average 6,28. The minimum kill concentration of the lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) which was able to kill the Staphylococcusepidermidis bacteria was at the concentration of 50 percent Keywords : Anti-Bacterial Activity, Lime Juice, Staphylococcus Epidermidis
