Abstract

Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya. Tugas Akhir, Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter, Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya, Pembimbing Theodora, drg., Sp. Ort Tuberkulosis merupakan penyakit infeksi yang menular disebabkan mycrobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberkulosis menjadi masalah kesehatan utama penyebab kematian terbesar di dunia. Kesembuhan tuberkulosis di Indonesia masih masih rendah, salah satu masalahnya mengenai program pengobatan yaitu kurangnya kepatuhan dari penderita TB untuk minum obat anti tuberkulosis, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan antara kepatuhan minum obat dengan kesembuhan pasien tuberculosis. Penelitian ini bersifat analitik observasional dengan studi cross sectional. Populasi penelitian yaitu semua penderita TB paru di Puskesmas Kepatihan Kecamatan Menganti Gresik pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Desember 2019 diambil secara simple random sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 45 responden. Variabel independen adalah kepatuhan minum obat, sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah kesembuhan pasien tuberkulosis. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square dengan tingkat kemaknaan (α = 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar 66,7% responden patuh dalam minum obat dan sebagian besar 55,6% responden sembuh dari penyakit tuberkulosis. Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan ada hubungan antara kepatuhan minum obat dengan kesembuhan pasien tuberculosis di Puskesmas Kepatihan Kecamatan Menganti Gresik tahun 2019 (P = 0,000). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepatuhan minum obat anti tuberculosis merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kesembuhan penyakit tuberculosis. Diharapkan pasien tuberkulosis patuh dalam minum obat walaupun pasien bekerja dan keluarga pasien tuberkulosis diharapkan memberikan dukungan, memotivasi dan melakukan pengawasan terhadap pasien untuk patuh dalam melakukan pengobatan tuberkulosis. Tuberculosis cure in Indonesia is still low, one of the treatment programs is tuberculosis for taking anti-tuberculosis drugs. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between taking medication with tuberculosis patients healing. This research is an analytic observational study with cross sectional study. The study population was all patients with pulmonary TB in the Kepatihan Puskesmas of Menganti Gresik District in January to December 2019, taken by simple random sampling with a sample of 45 respondents. The independent variable is the consent to take medication, while the dependent variable is the healing of tuberculosis patients. Data analysis used chi-square test with significance level (α = 0.05). The results showed the majority of 66.7% of respondents complied with taking medication and most of the 55.6% of respondents recovered from tuberculosis. Chi-square test results showed a relationship between drinking and healing tuberculosis patients in Kepatihan Health Center in Menganti District, Gresik in 2019 (P = 0,000). Undeniably as an anti-tuberculosis drug is a factor affecting tuberculosis cure. It is expected that tuberculosis patients are obedient in taking medication When the patient is working and the tuberculosis patient's family is expected to provide support, motivate and supervise patients to be obedient in conducting tuberculosis treatment.
