Abstract

This study aimed to identified Nematode worms in the digestive tract of pigs in Boawae District and compared the degree of Nematode worm infestation between male and female pigs. This study was conducted in August 2019. Samples were taken from 51 male pigs and 51 female pigs in Boawae Subdistrict, Nagekeo District. Samples were examined using the Native Test method to determined qualitative results and then the Floating Test method was performed to counted worm eggs per gram of stool. The results of this study showed that the presence of Ascaris Suum and Strongyloides ransomi worms in both male and female pigs there not difference significant for comparison of the incidence and infestation rates of the two pigs.
