Abstract

ABSTRACT Marisa Putri Kartikasari. 2018. Teaching Speaking Using Guessing Game for Senior High School. Final Assignment. English Department of Language and Science Faculty. Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya Advisor : 1. Drs. Heri Kusmiharto, M.Pd In learning English, speaking is one of most important skills that should be mastered by student. But in fact, many students are still less confident about their speaking skills especially for students of SMA KAWUNG 2 Surabaya. It is because Most of them were still too shy, afraid and unconfident to speak English in front of the class. In short, the students’ speaking ability is still low. Therefore, in this paper. The writer suggests the teacher to use guessing game technique for teaching speaking. By using games technique, the students are expected to be involved actively in speaking class. They can express their ideas freely because they do activities with their friends. It is game also easy to admirer and flexible in terms of subject matter and design.
