Advisor : Drs. Herry Kusmiharto, M.Pd Keyword : Teaching Vocabulary, Spelling Bee Games This study presents teaching vocabulary by using spelling games. Vocabulary is an important component in language learning. It will be needed by students when they learn English skill like reading, writing, speaking and listening. In teaching vocabulary there are many strategies can be implemented, one of them is spelling bee games. Spelling bee is a contest in which competition are eliminated as they fail to spell a given word correctly. The Presentation are divided into three phase; opening, main activity, and closing. By using spelling bee games, it will help language learning to be more meaningful, memorable, and accessible. The students could be more interested in learning the material.
