Abstract

PERBANDINGAN LOKASI PEMELIHARAAN IKAN MUJAIR (Oreochromis mussambicus) DITINJAU DARI TOTAL PLATE COUNT DAN KANDUNGAN BAKTERI Escherichia coli Ekko Frasetyo Andre Kurniawan ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah bakteri Total Plate Count (TPC) dan ada tidaknya kandungan bakteri Escherichia coli pada insang ikan Mujair ditambak yang ada di Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan observative analitik deskriptif. Penilaian kandungan bakteri Escherichia coli bakteri dibiakkan pada media BA (Blood Agar) dan dilakukan pengujian mikroskopik, sedangkan perhitungan jumlah total koloni bakteri menggunakan metode Total Plate Count (TPC). Hasil analisis menggunakan metode uji t (T-TEST) pada uji Test untuk kandungan bakteri Eschrichia coli menunjukkan nilai Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,003 < 0,05 maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara lokasi pemeliharan. Hasil uji T test Total Plate Count (TPC) diperoleh nilai signifikan (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara lokasi pemeliharan. Kata Kunci: Tambak Ikan Mujair, Kandungan Escherichis coli, TPC, Insang Ikan Mujair COMPARISON OF MUJAIR FISH MAINTENANCE (Oreochromis mossambicus) LOCATION FROM TOTAL PLATE COUNT AND Escherichia coli BACTERIA Ekko Frasetyo Andre Kurniawan ABSTRAK This study aimed to determined the number of bacteria's Total Plate Count (TPC) and the presence or absence of Escherichia coli bacteria in Mujair fish's gills in ponds at Sidoarjo. This study used descriptive analytical observative. Assessment of the content Escherichia coli bacteria used by culturing bacteria in BA (Blood Agar) media and used microscopic test. The calculation of the total number of bacterial colonies used by the Total Plate Count (TPC) method. The results of the analysis using the t-test (T-TEST) method of Eschrichia coli showed that the Sig (2-tailed) value was 0.003 <0.05, so there were significant differences between the maintenance sites. The results of the T-test Total Plate Count (TPC) test obtained a significant value (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0,05, so, there were significant difference between the maintenance locations.
