Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan injeksi anestesi xylazin - ketamin dan xylazin - zoletil ditinjau dari Onset of Action dan Duration of Action pada kelinci (Oryctolagus cuniculus). Hewan coba yang digunakan adalah kelinci sebanyak 18 ekor dibagi menjadi 2 perlakuan dengan 9 kali ulangan. Kelompok perlakuan tersebut yaitu perlakuan (P1) diinjeksi xylazin dengan dosis 0,15 mg/KgBB – ketamin dengan dosis 20 mg/KgBB dan kelompok perlakuan (P2) diinjeksi xylazin dengan dosis 0,15 mg/KgBB – zoletil dengan dosis 3 mg/Kg BB. Setiap perlakuan menggunakan 9 ekor kelinci sebagai ulangan sehinga secara keseluruhan menggunakan 18 ekor kelinci. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji T. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pemberian anastesi injeksi xylazin - ketamin dan xylazin – zoletil tidak ada perbedan yang nyata (P > 0,05) terhadap Onset of Action dan Duration of Action. ABSTRACT The aimed of study to determined the comparison of anesthesia injection of xylazine - ketamine and xylazine - zoletil in terms of onset of action and duration of Action in rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus). The experimental animals were 18 rabbits divided into 2 treatments with 9 replications. The treatment group namely treatment (P1) injected xylazine at dose of 0,15 mg/KgBB - ketamine at a dose of 20 mg/KgBB and the treatment group (P2) injected xylazine at a dose of 0,15 mg/KgBB - zoletil at a dose of 3 mg/KgBB. Each treatment used 9 rabbits as replicates so that overall 18 rabbits were used. The data obtained were analysis by Test. The results showed that be concluded that combination of xylazine - ketamine and xylazine - zoletil anesthesia had no significant (P > 0,05) to onset of action and duration of action.
