Abstract
Thisstudyisacasestudyonpreliminarycostestimation model forroadmaintenanceandupgradingprojectatPublicWorksDepartmentofBinaMargaEastJava-Indonesia.Thepurposeofthisstudyistoplantheinitialprojectcostestimate.Datawerecollectedfromprojectcostbudgetsfrom2010to2017obtainedfromprojectcontractors. The2010-2017projectbudgetdataisconvertedto2017perm2onthebasisoftheinflationvalueprevailingintheyearofprojectimplementation.DataanalysisusingCostSignificantModel(CSM)andmultiplelinearregressionwiththehelpofSPSSsoftware.Theresultsofthestudyconcludedthat87.23%ofjobsaffectingthecostofmaintenanceandupgradingprojectsconsistof;(1)asphaltwork,(2)bulkingpavementwork(3)stonepairswork,and(4)drainagework.TheequationmodelofprojectcostestimationofmaintenanceandimprovementofhighwaybasedonCostSignificantModelisintheformofregression equation, Y=0,198+0,522X1+0,323X2+0,161X3+0,085X4.Theresultsofthisstudyhaveanestimatedaccuracyof-1.22%to+8.22%,withanaverageof+2.05%accuracy.Whencomparedtotheestimationusingtheroadlengthparametersperm2usedbythePublicWorksDepartmentofEastJava-IndonesiaProvince,theaccuracyrangesfrom-18.68%to+18.05%,withanaverageof1.35%accuracy.Keywords:preleminary,estimation,cost,road,CSM.
