ABSTRAK Tola, Guido. 2018. Hubungan Faktor Lingkungan dan Sosial Ekonomi dengan Kejadian Diare di Desa Plemahan RT 04 RW 02 Kecamatan Plemahan Kabupaten Kediri. Tugas Akhir, Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter, Fakultas Kedokteran,Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya.Pembimbing : dr. Akmarawita Kadir, M.kes Lingkungan yang tercemar atau tidak sehat akan berdampak bagi kesehatan masyarakat di sekitarnya, dan status sosial ekonomi bisa mempengaruhi kesejahteraannya, untuk itu perlu menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat dan memperoleh status sosial yang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah megetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara faktor lingkungan yaitu jenis jamban dan sumber air minum serta faktor sosial ekonomi yaitu pendapatan dengan kejadian diare di Desa Plemahan RT 04 RW 02, Kecamatan Plemahan, Kabupaten Kediri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cross sectional untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara faktor lingkungan dan sosial ekonomi dengan kejadian diare di Desa Plemahan RT 04 RW 02, Kecamatan Plemahan, Kabupaten Kediri. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara faktor lingkungan yaitu jenis tempat pembuangan tinja dan sumber air minum dengan kejadian diare, serta ada hubungan antara faktor sosial ekonomi yaitu pendapatan dengan kejadian diare di Desa Plemahan RT 04 RW 02, Kecamatan Plemahan, Kabupaten Kediri. Hasil ini didapatkan dari uji Chi Square yang nilai signifikannya p < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan bagi instansi terkait yaitu puskesmas desa plemahan dan masyarakat sama-sama menciptakan dan menjaga lingkungan yang sehat, serta diharapkan masyarakat bisa mengatur ekonominya untuk memperoleh kesejahteraan yang layak termasuk masalah kesehatan. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between environmental factors, namely the type of toilet and drinking water sources and socio-economic factors, namely income with the incidence of diarrhea in the Plemahan Village RT 04 RW 02, Plemahan Subdistrict, Kediri Regency. The method used in this study was cross sectional to determine whether there was a relationship between environmental and socio-economic factors with the incidence of diarrhea in Plemahan Village RT 04 RW 02, Plemahan Subdistrict, Kediri Regency. The results showed that there was a relationship between environmental factors, namely the type of feces disposal and drinking water sources with the incidence of diarrhea, and there was a relationship between socio-economic factors, namely income with the incidence of diarrhea in Plemahan Village RT 04 RW 02, Plemahan Subdistrict, Kediri Regency. These results are obtained from the Chi Square test, the significant value of which is p <0.05. Based on the results of the study, it is expected that the relevant agencies, namely the village plemahan public health centers and the community together create and maintain a healthy environment, and it is hoped that the community can regulate its economy to obtain proper welfare including health problems.
