Abstract
This research is aimed to analyze the influence of economic motivation, career motivation, education cost, and public accountant knowledge towards accounting students’ interest in taking Accounting Profession Education (APE). The sample is taken through purposive sampling method in which 100 students of fifth and seventh semester from Accounting Major of Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya University are participated. The research data is gotten through 5-point-likert scale questionnaire that shared then analyzed using doubled linier regression which uses SPSS Statistic 17.0 software. The result of this research shows that economic motivation, career motivation, education cost, and public accountant knowledge influence accounting students’ interest in taking APE. The partial test, on the other hand, shows education cost is the only factor that does not influence accounting students’ interest in taking APE
