Abstract

This study to examine the partial effect of the size of a company, solvency, profitability, and company value towards the dividend policy of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2015-2017. The independent variable or (x) in this empirical study is company size, solvency, profitability, and the company value. While the dependent variable or (y) is dividend policy. The population taken is the company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchage in 2015-2017. In this study, the samples was taken by non probability sampling method out of 14 companies. Hypothesis testing is by conducting multiple linear analysis.Before doing the hypothesis test, a classic assumption test is done by processing data using SPSS. "The result of the t test shows that the variable size of the company and solvency have a significant effect on dividend policy in manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2015-2017”, that can be justified because the significance is less than 0.05. "The result of the t test shows that the profitability and company values partially have a significant effect on the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2015-2017" that cannot be verified because the significance is greater than 0.05.
