Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis kambing terhadap kualitas susu ditinjau dari Total Solid (TS), kadar lemak, dan kadar protein. Sampel susu dari jenis kambing perah PE, Sapera, Bligon, dan Jawarandu. Pengujian menggunakan alat Lactoscan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, kambing Bligon menghasilkan komposisi susu dengan nilai Total Solid, lemak, dan protein tertinggi dibandingkan jenis lainnya. Sementara itu, kambing Sapera menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas susu yang stabil seiring pengambilan sampel. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar ilmiah bagi peternak untuk memilih jenis kambing perah yang sesuai dengan tujuan produksi.
