Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to give the empirical and comprehensive evidence about the effect of the components of intellectual capital on companies performance. Company's performance in this study is measured using profitability, asset turnover and market valuation. While the intellectual capital is measured using the VAIC™. The observations of this research are 20 companies which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange which listed on LQ45 Index (BEI) in the period 2015-2017. The results showed a significant andkinerja positive impact of intellectual capital on profitability and asset turnover but has no significant effect on market valuation. So it can be concluded that some of the components of intellectual capital has a positive effect on the performance of companies in Indonesia. Key words : Intellectual capital, VAIC™, corporate performance ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bukti empiris dan komprehensif tentang pengaruh dari komponen-komponen modal intelektual pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Kinerja perusahaan dalam penelitian ini diukur menggunakan profitabilitas, turnover aset dan nilai pasar. Sedangkan modal intelektual diukur menggunakan VAIC™. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 20 perusahaan yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia indeks LQ45 selama periode 2015-2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dan positif modal intelektual terhadap profitabilitas dan turnover aset tapi tidak berpengaruh pada nilai pasar. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa beberapa komponen modal intelektual memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan di Indonesia.
