Abstract

Colorectal cancer survival is the survival rate of patients after being diagnosed with cancer. These survival rate measurements are generally carried out within a certain period of time after diagnosis, such as the patient's 5-year survival rate. Factors that influence the survival of colorectal cancer patients are the characteristics of colorectal cancer such as the location of the colorectal cancer tumor, the stage of the colorectal cancer, and the type of colorectal cancer therapy the patient received (American Cancer Society., 2022). Based on the above, the author wants to find out whether there is a relationship between the characteristics of colorectal cancer and the type of therapy and the survival period of patients at Nganjuk Regional Hospital. The aim of the research is: To determine the relationship between the characteristics of colorectal cancer and the type of therapy and the survival period of patients at RSUD Nganjuk. Metode : Observational analytics, sampling using cross sectional sampling techniques. Result: Data was collected by fulfilling the inclusion requirements for 46 patients. Based on the results of the relationship between colorectal cancer metastasis and the survival period, the p-value is 0.122>0.05, the results of the relationship between the location of colorectal cancer and survival, the p-value is 0.268>0.05, the results, the results of the relationship between the type of chemotherapy and the survival time, the p-value is 0210> 0.05. Conclusion : There is no significant relationship between the characteristics of colorectal cancer and the type of therapy and the survival time of patients at RSUD Nganjuk.
