Abstract
ABSTRACK This research is entitled Response to the Effect of Organic Fertilizer Formulation on the Growth and Production of Purple Eggplant (Solanum melongena L). The aim of this research is to determine the effect of organic fertilizer formulation on the growth and production of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L). This research was conducted at the Bhakti Bapak Emak Islamic Boarding School in Jombang. This research took 3 months from May-August, carried out in 2024. This research was conducted in a Randomized Block Design, consisting of 1 factor with 5 treatments and 4 repetitions: T0 = NPK 2.57 g (control), T1 = NPK 2.57 g + 4 Ton Granulated Organic Fertilizer (50.2 g/ha), T2 = 2.57 g NPK + 4 Crumb Organic Fertilizer Tons (50.2 g/ha), T3 = NPK 2.57 g + Granule Organic Fertilizer 6 Tons (75.4 g/ha), T4 = NPK 2.57 g + Crumb Organic Fertilizer 6 Tons (75.4 g/ha). The research results showed that the application of granular and crumb organic fertilizer was able to increase the growth parameters and yields of Purple Eggplant plants. In the research results, there were significant differences between organic fertilizer treatments in the observation parameters of plant height at the age of 35-42 HST (days after planting), number of leaves at 42 days after planting, fruit diameter, flowering age, fruit length, fruit volume, with the best dose at T3.
