Abstract

HAZIZ WIDI ANGGARA 14210021 AGROTEKNOLOGI. PENGARUH MEDIA TANAH ENDAPAN PERAIRAN DAN KOMPOS SAMPAH PERKOTAAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L). DI BAWAH BIMBINGAN Dr. Ir. Dwi Haryanta, MS dan Ir. Hj. Tatuk Tojibatus Sa’adah, MP. ========================================================= ABSTRAK Indonesia yang dikenal sebagai negara agraris tentunya masyarakatnya sangat berperan aktif dalam bidang pertanian, tetapi terjadinya krisis lahan dan media tanam yang baik pada pertanian menjadi masalah yang cukup sulit. Tujuan penelitian ditujukan untuk mengetahui apakah tanah endapan bisa difungsikan sebagai media tanam tanaman bawang merah, dan apakah penambahan kompos sampah perkotaan mampu mempengaruhi untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Metode penelitian dengan rancangan penelitian RAK karena faktor lingkungan yang heterogen, dengan pelaksanaan penelitian yaitu pencampuran 5 jenis tanah endapan (T1-T5) dengan penambahan kompos (B0-B3) kontrol, 10%, 20% dan 30% dari keseluruhan media yang beratnya 10kg. Pada hasil penelitian tidak terjadi interaksi nyata pada penggunaan tanah endapan perairan dan penambahan kompos sampah perkotaan di setiap perlakuan. Maka pada hasil penelitian ini dilakukan analisis ragam faktor tunggal. Pada hasil menunjukan bahwa penambahan kompos 20% (B2) mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L). Tatuk Tojibatus Sa'adah, MP ========================================================= ABSTRACT ndonesia, known as an agrarian country of course its people play an active role in the field of agriculture, but the occurrence of land crises and good planting media on agriculture becomes a quite difficult problem. The purpose of this research is to know whether sediment soil can function as a medium for planting onion, and whether the addition of urban waste compost can affect for the growth and yield of shallot crop. Research method with RAK research design due to heterogeneous environment factor, with the implementation of the research is mixing 5 types of sedimentary soil (T1-T5) with the addition of compost (B0-B3) control, 10%, 20% and 30% of all media weighing 10kg . In the research result there is no real interaction on the use of soil sediment and the addition of urban waste compost in each treatment. So on the results of this study carried out a single factor variation analysis. The results show that the addition of 20% compost (B2) affects the growth and yield of shallot crops (Allium ascalonicum L). Keywords: Sediment Land, Urban Compost, Red Onion, Production
