Abstract

ABSTRAK Rumput teki diartikan gulma yang dapat menurunkan hasil pertanian sebab mengandung senyawa alelopati yang berdampak negatif pada kecambah dan laju pertumbuhan awal gulma bayam duri. Penelitian tertulis tujuannya dalam mengetahui ekstrak alelopati dari rumput teki dapat mempengaruhi perkecambahan serta pertumbuhan awal gulma bayam duri. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri empat perlakuan, setiap diulang enam kali. Perlakuan tersebut diartikan: A0 sebagai kontrol dengan air, A1 dengan 50 gram teki per liter air, A2 dengan 100 gram teki per liter air, dan A3 dengan 150 gram teki per liter air. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan pada perlakuan A3 (150g teki/L air) di hari terakhir, ekstrak alelopati teki menyebabkan abnormalitas pada 75,17% kecambah biji gulma bayam duri. Di polybag, perlakuan A3 (150g teki/L air) pada hari terakhir menekan laju pertumbuhan jumlah bibit dari 25 tanaman menjadi hanya 1 tanaman (96%), dengan tinggi bibit 1 cm dan jumlah daun 3,67 helai. Semakin tinggi dosis perlakuan, semakin besar pengaruhnya dalam menekan perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan awal gulma bayam duri. Kata Kunci : Alelopati, Rumput Teki, Gulma, Bayam Duri, Perlakuan ABSTRACT Nut grass is defined as a weed that can reduce agricultural yields because it contains allelopathic compounds which have a negative impact on the sprouts and initial growth rate of spinach weed. The written research aims to determine whether allelopathic extracts from sedge grass can influence the germination and initial growth of thorn spinach weed. The research was carried out in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments, each repeated six times. The treatment is defined as: A0 as a control with water, A1 with 50 grams of tekhi per liter of water, A2 with 100 grams of tekhi per liter of water, and A3 with 150 grams of tekhi per liter of water. The results of the study showed that in treatment A3 (150g tekhi/L water) on the last day, the allelopathic extract of tekhi caused abnormalities in 75.17% of spinach spinach seed sprouts. In polybags, A3 treatment (150g tekni/L water) on the last day reduced the growth rate of the number of seedlings from 25 plants to only 1 plant (96%), with a seedling height of 1 cm and a number of leaves of 3.67 pieces.
