Abstract

The act of smuggling illicit commodities has a servee negative impact on the economy and finance of the nation. Another effect of a role being implemented is legal culpability, regardless of whether the job entails right, obligations, or powers. The research’s objective is to identify the variables that contribute to the illegal item’s extensive distribution. By looking at relevant ideas, conceptions, legal principles, abd statutory rules, the research was conducted using primary legal materials. This strategy, referred to as the literature approach, entails reading books, legal statutes, and other papers pertaining to investigations into the incidence of crimes involving the shipment of illicit commodities. Normative research writing is focused on written rules and other legal sources, meaning that statutory regulations serve as the foundation for normative research analysis. This type of research methodology is employed in this study Based on the research, the results showed that the factors causing the smuggling of illegal goods were the existence of physical and administrative modes of smuggling. Legal responsibility in criminal liability means that the burden of responsibility is borne by the perpetrator of a criminal offense relating to the basis for imposing criminal sanctions.
