Abstract

Infeksi adalah satu di antara pencetus penyakit utama di dunia apalagi di negara kurang maju termasuk Indonesia. Diantara mikroorganisme yang sering menjadi pencetus utama infeksi adalah Escherichia coli. Salah satu tumbuhan yang terkenal dengan khasiat sebagai antibakteri yaitu teh hijau. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh letak geografis daun teh hijau (Camellia sinensis) terhadap diameter zona hambat Escherichia coli dilakukan dengan metode difusi. Pada penelitian ini dibuktikan letak geografis daun teh hijau (Camellia sinensis) tidak mempengaruhi ukuran diameter zona hambat Escherichia coli. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu letak geografis tidak mempengaruhi ukuran diameter zona hambat Escherichia coli yang terbentuk.
