Dewi, Novia Sintia. 2022. Analysis of E¬-BOOK Literacy Ability on Student Learning Outcomes on the Subject matter of Kingdom Monera During the Covid-19 Pandemic Supervisors: (I) Drs. Sunaryo, M. Kes and (II) Dr. Sonny Kristanto, M.Si . Poor student literacy is a major factor in the decline in student learning outcomes. The use of learning media that are only oriented towards the teacher limits the developmental ability of students. This study aims to determine the level of understanding and efficiency of using the Class X science e-book with SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. This research method uses quasi-quantitative experiments of two-group pretest and posttest design. Two classes were taken, namely the control class and the Experiment class with 21 students. The control class in this study used conventional learning media, and the experimental class used e-book media. The results showed that learning using e-book media on the material had a positive influence on learning outcomes than conventional learning, namely the average experimental class was 78.57 the average score of the control class was 73.81 which showed that the average score of the experimental postest was superior to the average score of the control class. Thus, the literacy ability of student learning outcomes using e-book learning media is better than conventional learning. From the results of the student response questionnaire, it got a percentage of 97% where ebook-based learning media to improve the understanding of e-book literacy was included in the category of "Very practical", so that this media is classified as a medium that is easy for students to use in the learning process
