Abstract

The foundation (yayasan) has been recognized not only as a private legal entity but as an autonomous legal subject to achieve a goal in a social life/activities. The status as a private legal entity could be gotten with the legitimacy from the government. Foundation in its external activities would be represented by its management with the authority as regulated in its statutes so that the management would be responsible upon the detriment or financial loss due to ultra-vires conducts or policies.
