Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui buki empiris pengaruh minat mahasiswa akuntansi dalam memilih karir sebagai akuntan publik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahsiswa akuntansi Universitas Wiajaya Kusuma Surabaya dan STIESIA Surabaya angkatan 2014/2015. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah pengahrgaan finansial/gaji, pengakuan profesional, nilai-nilai sosial, pertimbangan pasar kerja, personalitas dan lingkungan kerja.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 140mahasiswa. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian adalah pengujian secara parsial dan simultan kemudian menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan uji f dan uji t menunjukkan bahwa penghargaan finansial, pengakuan profesional, nilai-nilai sosial, pertimbangan pasar kerja personalitas dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh tehadap minat mahasiawa akuntansi dalam pemilihan karir sebagai akuntan publik pada mahasiswa akuntansi Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya dan STIESIA Surabaya angakatan 2014/2015. Kata Kunci: Determinan, Akuntan Publik, Minat Mahasiswa Akuntansi. ABSTRACT This study aims to find empirical evidence of student interest in accounting university wijaya kusuma and stiesia suabaya. the independent variables in this study are financial reward / salary, professional recognition, social values, labor market considerations, personality and work environment. sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the number of samples as many as 140 students. the method of analysis used to test the hypothesis in this study is the test partially and simultaneously then using multiple regression analysis. the results of this test based on the f test and t test indicate that the rewards of financial / salary, professional recognition, social values, job market considerations, personality and work environment influence the interest of accounting students in career selection as public accountant at university accounting students wijaya kusuma and stiesia.
