Abstract

In this study, the researcher uses the title Legal Protection for Child Labor in Indonesia in the Perspective of Criminal Law, by bringing up the following matters: First, how are the legal regulations of companies in Indonesia against child labor? Second, how is the criminal liability of companies that employ minors? The method of research used in this study are statute approach and conceptual approach. Based on the results of this study, the researcher obtained that companies that are still employing children who are not yet 18 (eighteen) years old and without a guardian's certificate will be subject to criminal sanctions in accordance with Article 185 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, and corporations or parties that employ children and involve children in the worst form of work, will be subject to criminal sanctions in accordance with Article 183 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 13 of 2003 on Manpower.
