Pembimbing:Dr. Herni Suprapti M.Kes Hipertensi merupakan penyakit multifaktorial yang timbul karena interaksi antara faktor risiko tertentu, yaitu riwayat keluarga hipertensi, usia, jenis kelamin, alkohol, konsumsi garam berlebihan, obesitas, merokok dan aktivitas fisik yang kurang. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kejadian obesitas dengan hipertensi pada masyarakat desa Krikilan, kecamatan Driyorejo, kabupatenGresik. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua kepala rumah tangga dengan usia di atas 35 tahun dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki yang bertempat tinggal di desa Krikilan, kecamatan Driyorejo, kabupaten Gresik dengan besar sampel yang diambil sebanyak 30 orang. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi variabel independen adalah “Obesitas” sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah “Hipertensi”.Untuk menganalisis data penelitian ini diolah menggunakan uji statistik Spearman Correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara kegemukandengankejadian hipertensi di desa Krikilan, kecamatan Driyorejo, kabupaten Gresik, hal ini dibukti dengan perolehan nilai sig. sebesar 0,015 < α (0,05). Advisor: Dr. Herni Suprapti M.Kes Hypertension is a multifactorial disease that arises due to interactions between certain risk factors, namely family history of hypertension, age, sex, alcohol, excessive salt consumption, obesity, smoking and lack of physical activity. Based on this description, this study aims to determine the relationship between the incidence of obesity and hypertension in the Krikilan village community, Driyorejo sub-district, Gresik district. The population in this study were all household heads above the age of 35 years with male gender residing in Krikilan village, Driyorejo sub-district, Gresik district with a sample size of 30 people. In this study the independent variable is "Obesity" while the dependent variable is "Hypertension". To analyze the data this study was processed using the Spearman Correlation statistical test. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between obesity and the incidence of hypertension in Krikilan village, Driyorejo sub-district, Gresik district, this is evidenced by the acquisition of sig values. amounting to 0.015 <α (0.05).
