Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the influence of emotional intelligence, communication and leadership against employee performance of PT. Trans Papua Jaya in Surabaya, East Java. The population of this study was 30 staff of the office and the field. Data collection is conducted by distributing the questionnaire using 5 likert scale points to measure 25 indicators. The technique of analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study that the variables of emotional intelligence affect negatively on the performance but does not affect significantly to the performance. The variable of communication has positive and significant impact on performance, as well as the variable of leadership has positive and significant on performance. as well as significantly together against the performance of PT Trans Papua Jaya. Of the third independent variables which most affect the performance of the is leadership. Based on the research that has been done expected the leader monitors the employees which are composite decline of emotional intelligence so that you can still maintain the stability of the performance of the employees and the company is not loss.
