Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh love of money dan machiavellian terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa akuntansi, serta menguji peran sensitivitas etika sebagai variabel moderasi. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 106 mahasiswa akuntansi yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Akuntansi Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya yang telah menempuh mata kuliah Etika Bisnis dan Profesi. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) melalui aplikasi SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa love of money dan machiavellian berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa. Sensitivitas etika terbukti memoderasi pengaruh love of money terhadap persepsi etis, tetapi tidak memoderasi pengaruh machiavellian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor kepribadian tertentu dapat melemahkan penilaian etis mahasiswa, dan peningkatan sensitivitas etika melalui pembelajaran dapat membantu memperkuat cara mahasiswa menilai isu-isu etis.
