Abstract

ABSTRAK Wirayudha, Sri Annung. 2025. Analisis Karakteristik Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Puskesmas Dukuh Kupang Surabaya. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter, Fakultas Kedokteran, Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya. Pembimbing Utama: dr. Inawati, M.Kes, dan Pembimbing Pendamping: dr. Harman Agusaputra, Sp.PA, dan penguji: dr. Pratika Yuhyi Hernanda, M.Sc,Ph.D Diabetes melitus tipe 2 merupakan penyakit metabolik kronik dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat secara global. Karakteristik pasien menjadi faktor penting dalam deteksi dini, penatalaksanaan, dan pencegahan komplikasi. Tujuan: Mengetahui analisis karakteristik pasien DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas Dukuh Kupang Surabaya berdasarkan usia, jenis kelamin, kontrol rutin, lama menderita, indeks massa tubuh (BMI), dan komplikasi. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dilakukan pada Januari–Februari 2025 dengan total 30 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui rekam medis dan kuesioner. Hasil: Mayoritas pasien berusia >60 tahun (57%), berjenis kelamin perempuan (60%), memiliki BMI normal (50%), dan rutin kontrol (97%). Sebagian besar telah menderita >5 tahun (53%) dan mengalami komplikasi (83%) dengan jenis terbanyak adalah neuropati (73%). Kesimpulan: Pasien DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas Dukuh Kupang Surabaya didominasi oleh kelompok usia lanjut, perempuan, memiliki BMI normal, dan mengalami komplikasi neuropatik.
