Abstract

Diah Ayu Wulandari, NPM 21650020. Dengan Judul “Pengaruh Media Kahoot Terhadap Hasil Belajar Materi Keragaman Suku Bangsa dan Budaya Pada Siswa Kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 232 Gresik”. Pembimbing I: Ibu Dra. Suprihatien, M.M., M.Pd dan Pembimbing II: Ibu Friendha Yuanta, S.Pd., M.Pd. This study aims to determine the effect of using Kahoot media on learning outcomes of ethnic and cultural diversity material for fourth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 232 Gresik. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type whose population is all fourth grade students, which are divided into two groups, namely class IVA totaling 14 students as the experimental group and class IVB 13 students as the control group. This study uses a data collection technique, namely a test technique in the form of multiple choice questions. After the data collection technique, the data processing technique is continued using the Validity Test and Reliability Test of the pretest and posttest question instruments, the results of which are declared valid and reliable. After the questions are declared valid and reliable, the data analysis technique in this study is continued using the Normality Test, the pretest Homogeneity Test, the results of the Normality Test of the variable X_count^2=1,3, the variable Y_count^2=4.02 while X_table^2=5.99, while the results of the pretest Homogeneity Test F_count≤F_(table)=1.18≤2.604, thus in the pretest homogeneity test it is stated that the same or homogeneous. After conducting the Normality Test and Homogeneity Test on the pretest questions, the Normality Test and the posttest Homogeneity Test are continued to measure the level of understanding of students after the learning process, the posttest Normality Test results are variable X_count^2=2.26, the variable Y_count^2=4.22 while X_table^2=5.99, while the results of the pretest Homogeneity Test F_count≤F_(table)=2.11≤2.604, this states that both variables are normally distributed and homogeneous. To find out whether or not there is an influence of Kahoot media in learning, a t-test was continued, the results of which showed that the learning outcomes of the material on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity of class IV A students who were taught using Kahoot learning media were better than without using Kahoot media in learning on the material on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity. This has been proven by the results of the t-test calculation, namely 6,10 and the t_table value df = 25 with a significance level of 5% is 2.059. Based on this analysis, it was obtained that t_count is greater than t_(count)> t_(table) (6,10> 2.059). Keywords: Kahoot Media, Learning Outcomes, Ethnic and Cultural Diversity
