Abstract

Keywords: Flashcard Media Development, Local Wisdom, Love for the Country Character, Grade IV Elementary School Students This research aims to develop flashcard learning media based on local wisdom to instill the character of love for the homeland in grade IV elementary school students. The media was developed using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model with instruments in the form of expert validation questionnaires, pre-test and post-test questions, and student response questionnaires. The validation results showed that the media was very valid with a validity percentage of 96.43%. Effectiveness was measured through an N-Gain of 0.942 in the control class, which belongs to the high category. The students' responses were very positive, reaching 92.3% in class IV-A and 96.3% in class IV-B. So it can be concluded that this media is valid and effective in increasing students' understanding of cultural diversity and instilling the character of love for the homeland.
