Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada penelitian ini digunakan ekstrak buah berenuk (Crescentia cujete L.) untuk mengetahui efektivitas terhadap gambaran histopatologi inflamasi, granulasi, reepitelisasi pada kulit tikus Sprague Dawley yang diberikan luka selama 14 hari. Sampel yang digunakan adalah tikus Sprague Dawley dengan berat badan 300 gram sebanyak 20 ekor yang dibagi dalam 4 kelompok yaitu kontrol negatif (P0), kontrol positif (P1), dengan perlakuan pertama (P2) konsentrasi 1% dan perlakuan kedua (P3) konsentrasi 2%. Pada hari ke-15 tikus di euthanasia lalu di nekropsi kemudian kulit diambil dan dijadikan preparat histopatologi dengan pewarnaa hemaktosilin eosin (HE). Parameter yang diamati yaitu adanya inflamasi, granulasi, dan reepitelisasi. Pengamatan gambaran histopatologi dilakukan dengan mikroskop dengan perbesaran 40x pada lima lapang pandang. Hasil data dari pengamatan kemudian dianalisis denga uji statistik Kruskal-Wallis yang menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan nyata (P < 0,05) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Mann-Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak buah berenuk (Crescentia cujete L) dapat menyembuhkan luka pada kulit tikus Sprague Dawley.
