Abstract

This research is entitled "Legal Protection for Multilevel Sales Members due to the Practice of Below Price Sales through Market Places. Which in writing uses normative research methods, using a statutory approach (Statute Approach) and a conceptual approach (Conceptual Approach). The formulation of the problem in this research is: (1) What are the responsibilities of multi-level sales (MLM) members regarding the use of market places in sales methods based on the principles of business competition?, (2) What is the form of resolution for the practice of selling below price through the market place in the multi-level sales system (MLM )?. From the legal research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that not all MLM members carry out marketing according to procedures. In the first formulation of the problem regarding liability towards members, it is based on legal relationships that are formed because of an agreement made by the company and agreed upon by members taking into account the multi-level sales code of ethics (MLM) as a reference for activities, so that in this case it has nothing to do with liability. based on the principles of business competition. Meanwhile, the second problem formulation will discuss the form of settlement carried out by the company towards the members concerned, including those related to legal responsibility and ethical responsibility.
