Abstract

The maturity of the reproductive organs and the development of their functions begins when humans reach their teenage years. Meanwhile, adolescents are those within the age range of 10-19 years based on World Health Organization (WHO). Fluor albus is also known as leukorrhea. Fluor albus (leucorrhoea) is not a disease, but a symptom. The presence of fluor albus (leucorrhoea) can be an indicator to detect various infections, the presence of malignancy, or indicates other disorders that can occur in the reproductive organs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of wearing pantyliners on the incidence of fluor albus (leucorrhoea) in young women using literature study. This research method is SLR (Systematic Literature Review). It is done by examining various journals, both national and international based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criterias. As a result, there is an effect of using pantyliner on the incidence of fluor albus (leucorrhoea) in young women. The use of pantyliners can increase the incidence of fluor albus, because using them every day in the wrong way can increase the humidity of the vaginal area, including increased sweating, which causes bacteria and fungi to grow and develop properly. In conclusion, there is an effect of using pantyliners on the incidence of fluor albus (leucorrhoea) in young women. Keywords: Fluor albus, pantyliner, young women
