The research is to know the improvement of student skill in speaking by role play using daily activity of 10th grade students at SMA HANG TUAH 4 Surabaya in academic year 2019/2020. The research design of this study is classroom action research, which focuses on the efforts to improve the real condition of the English teaching and learning process. The data were taken from the 10th grade of IPA 1 students at SMA HANG TUAH 4 Surabaya in the academic year of 2019/2020. The students consisted of 35 students. There were 16 male and 19 female students. In this research, the use of role play learning can be said success in improving students speaking ability if the target achievement is 75% of 35 students get the score ≥75 (KKM). Data collected through observation and tests. The research shows that the students improved after being taught by using Daily Activity. It can be seen who pass the evaluation in the first cycle was 67 and second cycle was 82. The results of observation showed that the students were excited and active. They were being immersed and followed the lesson. Therefore, using Role Play helped teacher to improve students’ skill in Speaking.
