Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh subtitusi Fermentasi Probiotik EM4 jerami padi kering terhadap performa bobot badan dan konsumsi pada domba jantan. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di Peternakan Bapak Limin di desa Bogem Pinggir jalan kalimas indah , Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hewan percobaan yang digunakan adalah domba jantan sebanyak 18 ekor. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan 3 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Ketiga perlakuan tersebut adalah P_0 (kontrol 100% hijauan rumput , P_1 (25% jerami fermentasi + 75% pakan hijauan), P_2(50% jerami fermentasi + 50% ). Penelitian dilakukan selama 4 minggu. Data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan uji ANNOVA. Subtitusi Fermentasi Probiotik EM4 jerami padi kering terhadap performa bobot badan dan konsumsi pada domba jantan menghasilkan rata – rata berat badan harian P_0= 13,23, P_1= 4.45, P_2= 1.98 hasil analisis statistika menunjukkan perbedaan yang berbeda nyata (P<0,05), sedangkan pada konsumsi pakan rata – rata P_0 = 1154.042, P_1= 1033.155, P_2= 1469.464, hasil analisis statistika menunjukkan perbedaan yang berbeda nyata (P<0,05). Kesimpulan taraf konsentrasi pakan berupa 25% jerami fermentasi + 75 % Hijauan rumput merupakan perlakuan paling efektif dalam menaikkan bobot badan domba jantan dan perlakuan paling efektif dalam meningkatkan nilai konsumsi hijauan ada pada P2, dengan kandungan 50% hijauan + 50% jerami fermentasi Kata Kunci : Domba , Hijauan Rumput , jerami fermentasi , probiotik EM4, Berat Badan, Konsumsi Pakan ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the effect of substitution of Fermented Probiotic EM4 dry rice straw on the performance of weight and consumption in rams. This research was conducted at Mr Limin's Farm in the village of Bogem Pinggir Indah Kalimas, Sidoarjo. The experimental animals were 18 rams. The rsearch design used completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 6 replications. The three treatments were P_0 (control of 100% forage grass, P_1 (25% fermented straw + 75% forage feed), P_2 (50% fermented straw + 50%). The study was conducted for 4 weeks. The data analyzed used ANNOVA test. Substitution of Fermented Probiotics EM4 of dry rice straw on weight performance and consumption in rams produced average daily weight P_0 = 13.23, P_1 = 4.45, P_2 = 1.98 the results of statistical analysis showed significant differences (P <0.05 ), while the average feed consumption was P_0 = 1154,042, P_1 = 1033,155, P_2 = 1469,464, the results of statistical analysis showed significantly different (P <0.05). The conclusion of the level of feed concentration in the form of 25% fermented straw + 75% forage grass is the most effective treatment in raising the weight of rams and the most effective treatment in increasing the consumption value of forage is in P2, with a content of 50% forage + 50% fermented straw Keywords: Sheep, forage grass, fermented straw, probiotic EM4, weight, feed consumption
