Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Keong Mas (Pomacea canaliculata) terhadap pertumbuhan berat badan dan kandungan protein pada daging itik Alabio jantan (Anas plathycus borneo). Itik Alabio jantan yang digunakan sebanyak 24 ekor. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 perlakuan dan 6 kali pengulangan. Keempat perlakuan tersebut yaitu P0 (kontrol), P1 (5% Keong Mas pada pakan), P2 (10% Keong Mas pada pakan) dan P3 (15% Keong Mas pada pakan). Itik Alabio jantan ditimbang setiap minggu untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan berat badan dan dilakukan penimbangan sampai minggu ke-10. Uji Kjeldahl digunakan untuk menghitung kandungan protein pada daging itik Alabio. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Uji One Way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa pemberian Keong Mas dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan berat badan dan jumlah kandungan protein di dalam daging itik Alabio jantan. Nilai P3 pada pertumbuhan berat badan yaitu 1156.67 ± 8.165 dan nilai P3 pada kandungan protein sebesar 65.183 ± 2.6709. Penambahan Keong Mas (Pomacea canaliculata) dapat mempengaruhi berat badan dan kandungan protein di dalam daging itik Alabio jantan. Semakin banyak penambahan Keong Mas (Pomacea canaliculata), maka pertumbuhan berat badan dan kandungan protein pada daging itik Alabio jantan, semakin meningkat. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of giving conch Mas (Pomacea canaliculata) to the growth of body weight and protein content in male Alabio duck meat (Anas plathycus borneo). The male Alabio ducks used were 24. This study used 4 treatments and 6 repetitions. The four treatments were P0 (control), P1 (5% Keong Mas on feed), P2 (10% Mas snail on feed) and P3 (15% Keong Mas on feed). Male Alabio ducks are weighed every week to determine weight growth and weighing is carried out until the 10th week. The Kjeldahl test was used to calculate the protein content of Alabio duck meat. The data obtained were analyzed using One Way ANOVA Test and continued with Duncan Test. The results showed that the administration of Keong Mas can affect the growth of body weight and the amount of protein content in male Alabio duck meat. The P3 value of weight growth was 1156.67 ± 8.165 and the P3 value of the protein content was 65,183 ± 2.6709. The addition of Golden Snail (Pomacea canaliculata) affected the body weight and protein content in male Alabio duck meat. Increasing the number of golden snail (Pomacea canaliculata), increased the grow of body weight and protein content of male Alabio duck meat.
